WHAT IS VITALFIT EMS TRAINING
VitalFit, is an exercise physiology fitness laboratory through EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation) technology. Allowing you to exercise in an effective, intelligent and efficient manner. This full-body workout takes only 20 minutes. This method affects mostly the development of fast twitching muscle fibers. As all your muscles will be contracting at the same time to different speeds and pulses all controlled by your EMS trainer.
HOW DOES EMS TRAINING WORK
Firstly you arrange an appointment with VitalFit. At the beginning of the training , we will give you an isotonic drink that will keep you hydrated before, during and after the session. During the session our fitness expert will guide you personally through your workout using a range of dynamic and low-impact exercises. It is essential to wear special clothes with which electrodes are attached to key muscles all over your body. Especially arms, legs and buttocks, via a vest. When the session comes to an end, you will be given a protein shake for the recovery of your muscles. Your body will continue to burn calories after your workout as if your work out had not stopped. For this reason, VitalFit training can only be performed maximum twice a week and must be followed by a short break of at least 48 hours to assist in muscles recovery.

IS EMS TRAINING PAINFUL
No! During the training you feel muscle tension similar to that of a conventional weight training session. However, the days following the workout you might experience tightness as you would again in a conventional gym session . Your trainer will show you different stretches that can be used to help relax sore muscles and help recovery.

- Limit carbohydrates in your daily diet.

- Try complex carbohydrates like brown rice and pasta.

- Eat more protein to help the development and recovery of your muscles.

- Do not forget to add plenty of fruits and vegetables to your daily diet.

- Try to consume 500ml per hour of vigorous exercise in addition to the two liters of water per day.

- Do not eat two hours before exercise.
